ASA Morning: Simplified

Decided to revisit an old drawing that I haven’t done anything with for a couple years. In fact, it was one of the first drawings I’ve ever posted on here. You can see the (little) progress that I’ve had in regards to the drawing here.

I really like how it turned out. It’s very simple and I like the roughness of the sketch with the smooth lines of the ink. The watercolor droplets were actually added with Photoshop, but the color scheme is the same as the ASA Morning canvas.

This was for an assignment in class to express who we are and I chose this to represent my ongoing hobby to become a better artist.

Media: Copic Multiliners, pencil, watercolor
Time: 1.5 hours
